(2/28) Help your teen create a master schedule

Parent Institute

To handle competing priorities, students need to learn how to manage their time. Help your teen use a calendar to create a master schedule with time for assignments, activities and commitments blocked off. When he has a big project due, have him estimate the time needed for each step and add it to the schedule. Then challenge him to identify time wasters (like playing on his phone), and find ways to limit the time he spends on them.
