As students begin writing and revising longer papers, they need to know how to give their work a final "once-over." Before your teen turns in a paper, give her this checklist. Have her ask herself: Is my paper organized? Does it say what I want it to? Does every paragraph have a topic sentence? Is every sentence complete? Have I used proper punctuation? Have I checked the spelling? Is this my best work?
