Schoolwork is often a source of conflict in families. Instead of insisting that your teen redo every assignment until it is right, try this approach: Ask if he understood his assignment and if he did it as well as he could. He may ask for help. If he does, you can help him figure things out. If he doesn't, let him turn in wrong answers. The teacher needs to understand your teen's skill level.
