If "I can't find a ruler" and "Where's the graph paper?" are common delay tactics for your teen when it's time to do schoolwork, create a supply station. Collect protractors, rulers, special papers and other supplies and keep them in a basket or tote. The supplies are off limits unless your teen is doing schoolwork. Then she will have what she needs, and you won't have to play "find the scissors."
